A Proactive Approach to Safety

At SC Aviation, safety management is proactive not reactive. Our team continually evaluates operational risks before each flight to ensure the safest possible outcome.

Before every trip, trained professionals carefully analyze:

  • Weather conditions
  • Crew qualifications and experience
  • Runway availability and airport conditions
  • Aircraft performance capabilities
  • Operational risk factors

This information is continuously tracked and analyzed to identify potential risks before they become threats. Under the leadership of our Director of Safety, new tools, procedures, and best practices are regularly implemented to further enhance our safety culture.

Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP)

SC Aviation actively participates in the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) in coordination with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and IS-BAO standards.

This voluntary reporting program allows employees to confidentially report safety concerns, operational irregularities, or potential compliance issues without fear of disciplinary action. The goal is to gather meaningful data that helps identify and correct potential safety risks before they impact operations.

Each report is reviewed collaboratively by SC Aviation and the FAA to ensure corrective actions strengthen safety across the organization.
