SC Aviation provides private jet maintenance, repair and inspection services for the Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis areas at our Janesville, Wisconsin facility. While we schedule and coordinate aircraft services to be as expeditious as possible, we can also provide interim lift from our charter fleet of Falcons, Hawkers and Lears as needed.

For Management contracts SC Aviation has been providing aircraft Owners peace of mind along with expert guidance and representation in all phases of aircraft maintenance. Our straight forward approach ensures the highest level of safety and reliability, while controlling costs and minimizing down time.

Our Technicians

Jim Dillavou
Director of Maintenance

Jim Dillavou joined the company in 2001. With more than 25 years of experience, working with Hawker aircraft including work at the Raytheon Aircraft Services Center (former parent company of Hawker Beechcraft). In addition to his role with the charter certificate, Dillavou runs our Part 145 Repair Station. Dillavou is trained on all aircraft in the SC Aviation fleet, as well as various Falcon and Gulfstream models. Dillavou holds licenses in Inspection Authorization (since 1993) and A&P (since 1990.)

Russ Paulson
Chief Inspector

Russ Paulson came to SC Aviation in 2003 and has since been our Chief Inspector. He coordinates all maintenance day-to-day and serves as principle author of maintenance manuals inclusive of Parts 135 and 145. Paulson is trained on the Falcon 2000, Hawker, Lear and Challenger series aircraft and holds A&P and FCC Licenses in Classes 1 and 3.has 23 years of experience working with Hawker aircraft including 11 years with the Raytheon Service Center.
